Brown Cake

 
 


3 eggs beaten together
1/2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
2/3 cups milk
2 cups flour
1/2 cups cocoa
1/2 teaspoon soda disolernd(?) in cocoa
2 small teaspoons baking powder

Cream sugar and butter, add 1 cup flour, beat up, add eggs, all beaten, then another of flour then cocoa, then baking powder.

Aunt Pit often assumes that any idiot knows what to do with the cake ingredients. For those of us who don't:
Gather ingredients
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease cake pan.
Mix wet ingredients in a bowl.
Mix dry ingredients in another bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Pour batter into pan/pans.
Bake about 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the cake is dry.
